ADOS F2 Contact Adhesive

ADOS F2 is a premium, high-performance, general-purpose contact adhesive designed for professional and DIY applications. It provides a strong, instant bond with excellent durability, flexibility, and water resistance.

Suitable for a wide range of substrates, ADOS F2 delivers reliable adhesion across many surfaces, making it ideal for construction, workshop, and maintenance use.

Uses

  • Laminated plastics (e.g. Formica, Laminex)
  • Plywood and timber
  • Hardboard and MDF
  • Sheet metal and aluminium
  • Foam rubber and some other rubbers
  • Felt, cork, and leather
  • Acoustic panels and insulation materials
  • General building and joinery applications

Application

  • Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, or grease
  • Apply an even coat to both surfaces
  • Allow adhesive to become touch dry
  • Carefully align and press surfaces together
  • Apply firm pressure (roller or press recommended)
  • Bond is immediate on contact – no repositioning

Coverage

  • Approx. 4–6 m² per litre (depending on surface and application method)

Drying Time

  • Tack-free: 10–20 minutes (depending on conditions)
  • Full bond strength achieved after curing

Clean Up

  • Use appropriate solvent such as mineral turpentine while adhesive is still wet

Safety

  • Flammable – keep away from heat, sparks, and open flame
  • Use in well-ventilated areas
  • Avoid inhalation and skin contact
